Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program
The Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP) at UCLA is a volunteer student organization. Our goal is to provide outreach services that motivate and inspire students who are enrolled at California community colleges to consider the University of California as a practical option for transfer. Our group of UCLA volunteers create several in-person and virtual programs and opportunities to inspire transfer students to achieve their transfer goals.
The highlight of our program is the annual UCLA STOMP Conference which is a free event that hosts over 1,000 prospective transfer students. The conference includes a holistic set of workshops addressing UC Admission and Financial Aid resources, campus and community support programs, cultural and identity-based resources, and most importantly, the opportunity to directly interact with other transfer students.Meet the STOMP Coordinators
Current UCLA students, STOMP is always looking for volunteers. Join our team and make a difference in a transfer student's educational journey!

- Give back to your transfer community
Community College + STOMP Partnerships
STOMP is continually looking for opportunities to directly engage with prospective community college students, especially those students who may have never considered UC as a transfer option. We would appreciate the opportunity to host virtual and/or in-person events at your community college, especially within your respective student support programs such as PUENTE, UMOJA, EOPS, First Year Learning Communities and all others.
For more information and scheduling, please contact the STOMP Supervisors Erika Perez and Lila Mendoza.
During the annual STOMP conference in April, registrants will have an opportunity to learn about the University of California transfer admission process, gain insight and resources for achieving their transfer goals, and hear from current UCLA students. Check back in February for registration information.
