On-campus housing residents have free 90-channel cable TV as well as HBO GO and MAX GO without additional charge. In addition, UCLA offers a free movie streaming service called Resflix, with movies available to all users on the campus network.

High-speed Internet connections are available in their rooms and wireless access is available all over campus, including residence halls. If you ever experience technical problems or need help upgrading your system, the Student Technology Center can help get you up and running again.

UCLA also offers a collection of services through Bruin OnLine including Google Apps for UCLA (e-mail, calendar, and Google Docs).

The UCLA Computer Store located in Ackerman Student Union, offers special academic discounts to UCLA students on computers, accessories, and software.

In the classroom, many lectures are recorded by BruinCast so that students can watch the video stream at their convenience.

In the libraries, the Campus Library Instructional Computing Commons offers technology and support. The following are offered: Macbook Pro laptop lending, projector loans, GoPro video kits, and desktop computers with a wide variety of instructional software. Printing, copying, and scanning are also available. Student consultants can help you find the computing resources you are looking for.

BruinTech is UCLA's online guide created for students, faculty, and staff to gain a better understanding of technology. It offers a resource-rich website and free on-site seminars on computer issues. The website is filled with useful tech-related announcements, invitations to how-to lectures, and a collection of links to UCLA IT services.
